Introduction and History

Cey Holding, a leading company with 55 years of experience, operates 4 ports, 14 logistics terminals, and 3 free zones across 3.8 million square meters.  Employing 1350 people, they handle approximately 25 million tons of cargo annually, with port services reaching 30 million tons.

Recognizing the global and geopolitical landscape, Cey Holding integrates service quality and commercial dynamics into all operations. They focus on key trade centers in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, and Black Sea regions, prioritizing customer satisfaction and contributing modern facilities to the Turkish economy.

Cey Holding's port operations began with Samsunport, the largest on the Black Sea. They expanded to include Ceyport Tekirdağ, Mersin Free Zone Port, and Ceyport Taşucu, providing integrated solutions.

Ceynak Lojistik ve Ticaret A.Ş., a Cey Holding subsidiary, won a 36-year operating right for Tekirdağ Port in a 2018 privatization tender.  Operations were taken over on January 1, 2019, and the port was renamed Ceyport Tekirdağ International Port Management Inc.

Previously, Tekirdağ Port was operated by Akport Tekirdağ Liman şletmeleri A.Ş for 30 years under a 1997 privatization decision.  However, at the operator's request, the agreement was terminated in 2012, transferring control to Turkish Maritime Enterprises. Ceynak then managed operations until the 2018 tender, securing the long-term operating rights and renaming the port Ceyport Tekirdağ Uluslararası Liman İşletmeciliği A.Ş.
